Marketing Emails

We currently only invite customers that have opted in once a year to an open workshop event, we do not send any marketing emails.

We keep our record of our orders indefinitely, because the pieces we make are long term items. This is not a legal requirement, but provides a comprehensive service to our customers and the pieces we have made or serviced.

In the case that Ortwin Thyssen Design Ltd stops trading at 53 Palace Street, we may appoint a successor to offer a continuing comprehensive service to our customers. In that case your order information and contact details will be passed on to that succeeding jewellery company.

Fathom Analytics

In line with our commitment to privacy and providing an improved user experience, we’ve transitioned from Google Analytics to Fathom Analytics, a privacy-centric analytics service.

Fathom Analytics offers us insights into user interactions with our site without using cookies or infringing on your privacy. This transition supports a more engaging user experience, aligns our practices with the latest privacy standards, and importantly, eliminates the need for cookie consent for analytics purposes on our site.

An external PCI compliant payment gateway handles all payment transactions.

We will never ask for user passwords or personal details on social media platforms. Users are advised to conduct themselves appropriately when engaging with us on social media.

There may be instances where our website features social sharing buttons, which help share web content directly from web pages to the respective social media platforms. You use social sharing buttons at your own discretion and accept that doing so may publish content to your social media profile feed or page.

Use of Services by Minors

The Services are not directed to individuals under the age of thirteen (13), and we request that they not provide Personal Data through the Services.
