Ortwin Thyssen Master Jewellery Makers, as we know it today, started in 2006. But before that, there was just a young man talented and passionate about jewellery.
It all started when Ortwin began a jewellery based apprenticeship in Germany, 1987. Since that moment, it’s been thirty years of a wonderful journey that has contributed to what the business has become.
Ortwin wanted to celebrate this milestone, so on the 23rd November, guests joined us at the workshop to not only celebrate Ortwin’s journey, but thank our customers for making it possible.
Everyone had the chance to practice some of our jewellery making techniques, as well as have a wonder around the design studio. There, they were met with a display with some of Ortwin’s oldest creations accompanied by a timeline representation of the last thirty years.
